MAHK×UNTOLD Hoody

Coexistence of Lines.

Clothing is more than something you wear.
It carries atmosphere, emotion, and a sense of identity.

For this collaboration, UNTOLD partnered with painter and artist MHAK as MASAHIRO AKUTAGAWA.

Born in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima, MHAK developed his artistic perspective through fashion, skate culture, and street influences. Since beginning his career as an independent artist in his late twenties, he has continued to build a distinctive visual language recognized both in Japan and internationally.

MHAK’s work is immediately recognizable.

Repeating curves.
Abstract structures.
Unfinished spaces.

His work often exists between order and chaos, creating a balance that feels both unfamiliar and strangely natural.

At the center of his practice is a consistent idea:

coexistence with everyday spaces.

Rather than overpowering an environment, his work blends into it—becoming part of the atmosphere itself. Whether through murals, products, architecture, or collaborations, the philosophy remains the same.

Over the years, MHAK has collaborated with brands including adidas Skateboarding, Levi’s, THE NORTH FACE, and Fender, bringing his unique visual language into different cultures and mediums.

This collaboration with UNTOLD follows the same approach.

Instead of presenting the logo in its original form, it was deconstructed, layered, and reconstructed into something beyond typography.

Not a logo made to be read.
A logo made to be felt.

Not overly polished.
Not overexplained.
Just enough tension to leave an impression.

That subtle ambiguity sits at the center of this collaboration.

MHAK × UNTOLD

Not about drawing boundaries.
About existing together.
